I tossed one under a sweating iced tea and the linen soaked it right up without leaving a ring on my oak table. They're machine washable too, which is the main reason I swapped out my old cork ones.
These are way thicker than the cheap cork ones I had before, and my glasses finally stopped leaving scratches on the coffee table. Threw them in the wash after a spill and they came out looking brand new.
Didn't expect coasters to feel this nice, but the thick linen really does soak up condensation before it rings my table. Threw them in the wash after a wine night and they came out looking the same.
