The off-white undyed linen is exactly the natural look I wanted, no weird chemical smell out of the package. Three washes in and it's already softening up nicely, though it still has that crisp linen texture I like. My skin runs hot and this breathes way better than the cotton cases I had before.

I was worried linen would feel scratchy but this one softened up after two washes and now it's my favorite pillowcase. The off-white color is warmer than plain white and hides the occasional drool spot, honestly.
