The linen feels substantial without being scratchy, even straight out of the dryer. I've washed it four times now and it's gotten softer each time, no fraying at the edges. Drapes nicely over my shoulders after a shower too.

This thing is huge, 36 by 66 inches covers my whole back and then some. The Belgian linen feels sturdy but softened up nicely after the first wash. It soaks up water way faster than my old cotton towels ever did.
